What's better than a summer day with good food, live music, and fireworks? 🎆
Join us on July 4th at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park for our grand reopening and Celebration of America event! The park will open to the public at 4 p.m., with the grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. The 4th of July Celebration of America will begin at 6 p.m. with food truck vendors and live musical performances from Cody Clayton, The New Relics and The Nied’s Hotel Band. A fireworks show will be held at 10 p.m. to complete the evening's festivities.

Fire Station Warning Sign Repair Over Van Voorhis Road

Tomorrow morning, #Morgantown Public Works will repair the fire station warning sign that hangs in front of the Northside Fire Station over Van Voorhis Road. Work is estimated to be complete by 5:30 a.m., and no later than 7 a.m.

Morgantown Public Works Offers Free Materials for Public Pickup

The City of Morgantown Public Works Department is offering free materials to citizens including fill dirt, concrete rubble, woodchips and firewood for pick up.
The Public Works Department is accepting appointments Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Materials are available first come first serve and citizens must pick up the materials.
To schedule an appointment to pick up materials at the City Garage at 2020 Mississippi Street, please send an email to efullmer@morgantownwv.gov or call 304-291-7469.
