Minimal Qualifications:
· Associate degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technicalcertificate;
· 1 year experience in administrative support, customer services,or related area.
· Minimum Education Qualification can be substituted with anequivalent combination of education and experience sufficient tosuccessfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals who possess :
* Bachelor’s degree
* Knowledge of postsecondary educational processes, policies andprocedures.
* Evidence of working with multiple projects or departments.
* Two (2) years’ experience working in a customer serviceenvironment.
* Evidence of working with diverse groups of people.
* Evidence of using current technology to process records andorganize information.
Work Hours
Normally scheduled Monday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm andTuesday, Wednesday, 10:30am-7:00pm; however, may be required towork other shifts to include evenings and/or weekends. Schedulesubject to change based upon department needs.
Compensation
The annual salary is $35,810 to $37,958. A competitive benefitpackage is included.

Class Summary
Incumbents provide comprehensive information and services tostudents and prospective students in single areas or across anumber of disciplines that may include admissions, financial aid,academic advising, records and transcripts, career services,international students, and disability services.

Typical Essential Duties
· Coordinates academic support program operations; work may involvemanaging staff and activity scheduling, providing logistical andfunctional support, and collecting necessary documentation.
· Assists students with enrollment, registration, financial aidapplication, academic advising, testing, accommodations, and/orother student support services; facilitates the assigned programoperations by interviewing current and prospective students todetermine program/service eligibility, providing necessaryinformation, troubleshooting issues, proctoring tests, assistingstudents with completing paperwork, and performing relatedactivities.
· Responds to inquiries from students, staff, instructors, and thepublic via phone, email, or in person; resolves complaints andissues; directs applicable issues or requests to appropriatepersonnel/departments; provides course information, referrals, andresources; and assists students with using Collegefacilities.
· Prepares, processes, and/or verifies records, reports,worksheets, forms, loan packets, transcripts, promotionalmaterials, presentations, and other documents; maintains, scans,files, and records student and other confidential data; work mayinvolve utilizing software systems to update and maintain databasesand records; running reports and queries; researching and compilinggeneral and financial information; and ensuring compliance withFederal, State, and other applicable laws, policies, andprocedures.
· Performs administrative duties to include ordering supplies,processing correspondence, completing purchase requests, creatingmeeting agendas, reserving rooms, scheduling appointments, sendingout reminders, entering and approving facility requests, andsetting up rooms.
· Performs accounting duties to include managing and reconcilingstudent and other third party accounts; preparing journal entries;making deposits; creating check requests; setting up payment plans;managing cash drawers; reviewing and adding or removing holds onstudent accounts; performing debt recovery and collection;preparing deposits; processing student fees; calculating,communicating, and returning financial aid funds; and adjustingawards based on Federal guidelines.
· Coordinates with students, instructors, academic advisors, thepublic, and other internal and external staff, departments, andagencies to communicate information regarding College services andrequirements, assist with special event operations, and assist withadministrative duties.
· Provides support to supervisors, counselors, and managers byprioritizing and assigning work, and training staff in assignedarea of operations when necessary.
