Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Every day we come to our Walnut Creek, CA office hyper-focused on understanding public coverage and finding ways to reduce cost in our healthcare system through transparency, data, and software.

This role will report to PointCare’s VP of Product. As part of the PointCare development team, you will heavily contribute across the entire stack of our next generation healthcare SaaS/Multi-Tenant cloud application. You will work closely with other engineers on the team to bring new features to and improve our already cutting edge application.

What You Will Be Doing

Work within an agile development environment with other developers and with product owners to scope, develop, and deliver industry leading software solutions

Join a small Salesforce team to help build out our Salesforce SaaS product, connecting it to proprietary web-services applications

Use SalesforceDX throughout the development process to ensure proper development habits

Work in the Salesforce community to design pages using a combination of lightning components and custom development as needed

Designing and maintaining Salesforce security models including OWDs, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules

Participate in architectural strategies, from PoC to proposal to implementation

Work with a technology stack that includes Node.js, React, GraphQL, Kubernetes/Docker, Github, Google Cloud, and more

Iterate, iterate, iterate!

Basic Qualifications

Advanced experience with APEX, VisualForce, Process Automation, Custom Trigger development, Data Modeling and Management, API development, and External Service Integration.

Basic understanding of Salesforce security models for OWDs, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules

Basic administrator experience in Salesforce with object modeling, validation rules, and workflow builder

Extensive experience with modern CI/CD Git based development process

Working knowledge of agile process

Good understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching)

Excellent communication skills (e.g. you can explain why they are doing what they are doing)

3+ years of applicable work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SalesforceDX, AutoRabbit, or any proper Salesforce development process preferred, not required

Experience with Salesforce Communities

Experience with with Kubernetes and Docker

Experience with GraphQL

Experience with AngularJS

Understanding of responsive and mobile-first development

Desire to work/prior experience working in a startup environment
