LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department said its Major Crash Investigation Unit was investigating a crash near the Embassy Suites on Friday night.
According to LPD, officers were called to the 6700 block of Aberdeen Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. to assist EMS. LPD said one person was taken to University Medical with serious injuries, while another suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
